DIGITAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 8th GRADE APPLICATION

This course is designed to provide a basis overview of current business and information systems and trends, and to introduce students to the fundamental skills required for today’s business and academic environments. Digital Information Technology explores and develops the use of: databases, the internet, spreadsheets, presentation applications, management of personal information and email, and the integration of programs using software that meets industry standards. Students are expected to earn a MOS Certification by the end of the year. MOS Certification is earned by completing all course materials and passing at least 3 of the following exams: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or Word. This course is a rigorous hands on class, were students need to be able to work independently and follow along during lectures and lessons daily.
