11th grade Students working toward meeting Graduation Requirements

Some of our 11th grade students are still working on meeting their graduation requirements in Algebra 1 or/and language arts by working to achieve the required score on the required state assessments.  We have a number of students working in boot camps in Math and ELA to prepare for retaking the assessments. CCMHS is excited to offer a special in school ACT on February 27th to students who have not yet passed the FSA ELA exam. This special ACT is given in 5-hour time frame which provides more flexibility for students. Due to the open time limit, this version of the exam cannot be used for college reporting/application. It does serve as a chance to meet the ELA graduation requirement. The ACT NCR costs $45 (full or partial waivers are available for students qualifying for Free and Reduced Lunch). Students who still need to meet the ELA graduation requirement will be invited to sign up for the ACT NCR via a letter in their English classes on Wednesday February 7th. It is important that students return this letter to sign up to take the ACT NCR by February 19th.
